Sunday School at Our Savior’s helps children grow in the knowledge of Christ through Scripture, prayer, and Christian teaching. We aim to give children a steady foundation in God’s Word and the basics of the faith, in ways that are clear and age-appropriate.
What Children Learn
Depending on age and season, Sunday School includes:
- Bible accounts and key teachings
- Prayer and Christian hymnody
- The basic shape of worship and the church year
- The Catechism foundations (as appropriate)
Why Sunday School Matters
Children are not too young to learn the faith. Sunday School is one way the congregation supports parents as the primary teachers of the faith at home, and it builds friendships in the church.

Do parents have to be members?
No. Visitors are welcome.
What if my child is nervous?
That’s normal. We’ll help them settle in, and you’re welcome to talk with the teacher.
Children’s Choir (during Sunday School)
During Advent and Lent, our Children’s Choir practices during the Sunday School hour at 10:00 AM. The choir sings for worship at Christmas and Easter, helping children learn to serve the congregation by singing the faith together. Learn more on our Children’s Choir page.
