Financial Peace University is a nine-week class taught by Dave Ramsey and his team of experts, offered at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chadron. Together, we’ll walk through practical, biblical principles for handling money with wisdom, clarity, and confidence.
This class is for anyone who wants to manage their finances better and grow as a faithful steward. You do not need to be “in crisis” to benefit. Most of us have made mistakes with money, and all of us can learn better habits.

- Invest with purpose for the years ahead
- Grow in joyful, intentional generosity
Why We’re Offering This
Imagine what our families, our church, and our community could be like if we handled money with clarity instead of confusion, with peace instead of pressure, and with purpose instead of impulse. Imagine fewer anxious conversations at the kitchen table, fewer strained relationships, and more freedom to help a neighbor, support the work of the Gospel, and plan wisely for what’s ahead.
I first took Financial Peace University in seminary, but I never truly applied what I learned. In 2023 I went through it again, and it made a real difference in the way I steward the resources God provides and in the way I lead and provide for my family. We’re offering this class because we want practical help that leads to lasting change, and we want the blessings of faithful stewardship to strengthen our homes, our congregation, and our community.
